A Special City Council Meeting was held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 5:00pm in the Red Fox Conference
Room at the Eagan Municipal Center. City Councilmembers present: Mayor Maguire, Councilmembers
Fields, Hansen, and Supina. Councilmember Bakken was absent. City staff present: City Administrator
Miller.
I.ROLL CALL AND ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA
Councilmember Fields moved, Councilmember Hansen seconded a motion to adopt the agenda. Aye: 4,
Nay: 0. Motion carried.
II.VISITORS TO BE HEARD
There were no visitors to be heard.
III.ADVISORY COMMISSION INTERVIEWS
The Council interviewed a total of 11 applicants to fill vacancies on the Advisory Planning Commission,
Advisory Parks and Recreation Commission, Airport Relations Commission, Energy and Environment
Advisory Commission, and Eagan-Inver Grove Heights Watershed Management Organization.
At the conclusion of the interviews, the Council discussed appointment preferences for Advisory
Commissions and the WMO Board. Formal action to confirm appointments would be taken at the
following regular Council meeting.

There was no other business.
V.ADJOURNMENT
Councilmember Fields moved, Councilmember Hansen seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
