Document - Historical information/data - Eagan Police Thirtieth Anniversary - 5/1/1995 LICE 995 Celebrate u 0th year of servin r mmunity Moving for ooking back" The Eagan Police Department Staff would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the open house of the new police facility. Research and planning for the new facility started as early as 1990. Committees were formed within each working unit of the police department to formulate their work programs and relationships with other working units. Thorbeck Architects designed the police facility using data from the committees. The police department set two priorities in the construction of this facility. Those were to provide better service to the community and to provide a good working environment for police department staff. We feel that we achieved both of those priorities. 1995 also marks the 30th Anniversary of the Eagan Police Department. We have witnessed a great deal of change and growth since 1965 and our commitment to serving the citizens of Eagan is just as important now as it was in 1965.
