MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF
THE EAGAN CITY COUNCIL
Eagan, Minnesota
April 9, 2025
A Special City Council Meeting was held on Monday, April 9, 2025, at 5:30pm in the Training
Room at the Eagan Municipal Center. City Councilmembers present: Councilmembers
Fields, Hansen, Bakken and Supina. City staff present: City Administrator Miller.
I. ROLL CALL AND ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA
Councilmember Hansen moved; Councilmember Bakken seconded a motion to adopt the
agenda. Aye: 4, Nay: 0. Motion carried.
II. VISITORS TO BE HEARD
There were no visitors to be heard.
III. ADVISORY COMMISSION INTERVIEWS
The Council interviewed applicants to fill vacancies on the Advisory Planning Commission,
Advisory Parks and Recreation Commission, Sustainable Eagan Advisory Commission, and
Eagan-Inver Grove Heights Watershed Management Organization. A total of 16 candidates
were interviewed. Following the interviews, Council deliberated and made
recommendations for appointments, which will be included on the April 15 consent
agenda.
IV. OTHER BUSINESS
There was no other business.
V. ADJOURNMENT
Councilmember Fields moved; Councilmember Hansen seconded a motion to adjourn the
meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:35 p.m.
