Comments: The Property identified above is located within the corporate limits of the City
of Eagan. The Property has been platted. The use of the property is multiple-family
residential. The Property was initially developed in 1971-1972 as 204 units within nine
buildings, with above ground garages and a community/office building. The original Eagan
Township building permits are on file with the City, but there are no Certificates of Occupancy
available. In 2012, a Variance was issued to the side yard setback requirements for garages,
and to reduce the number of enclosed garage stalls. Our records indicate no unresolved
zoning code violations on file with the City.
The Property was rezoned from R-4 (Residential Multiple) to PD, Planned Development on
May 5, 2020. The PD zoning established the existing use as permitted, and allowed replatting
of the property for construction of two additional buildings on separate lots.
