MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE EAGAN CITY COUNCIL
EAGAN, MINNESOTA
OCTOBER 11, 1979
A special meeting of the Eagan City Council was held
on October 11, 1979, at 7:00 p.m. at the Eagan City Hall. Those
present were: Mayor Murphy, Councilmembers Egan, Smith, Wachter
and Parranto. Also present were City Administrator Hedges and
Director of Finance VanOverbeke.
1980 PROPOSED BUDGET (PUBLIC ENTERPRISE FUNDS)
The sixth budget session was held to review the 1980
proposed budget. Review at this meeting was directed to the Public
Enterprise Funds which include the Water Utility and Sewer Utility
Accounts. The City Council reviewed all the utility accounts,
changes were discussed and the City Administrator was directed
to include 100/ of the Superintendent of Public Works' salary in
the Utility Funds and to revise the accounts per direction of the
City council and present these when the final budget is considered.
The next and final budget session was set for the week
of November 12 through 16.
BID AWARD FOR PROJECT #79-20 (PROJECT #219)
Bids were received for Project #79-20 (Project #219)
which includes street improvements for a portion of Duckwood Drive
and Denmark Lane. The low bidder was McNamara Vivant in the amount
of $176,530. A motion was introduced by Wachter, seconded by Egan,
all members voting in favor, that the low hid for Project #79-20
(Project #219) be awarded to the low bidder, McNamara Vivant Con-
struction Company, in the amount of $176,530.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned
at 10:00 p.m.
