In addition to the foregoing use classifications, the ordinance
would contain sections dealing separately with the following:
Definitions and General Provisione-
This section would define the various terms used through-
out the ordinance, interpretation, purpose and provisions
not properly fitting to other sections, 1ncludj~g re-zoning
procedures, and use classifications permitting ~0Fpitals,
schools and churches.
Non-confor~ing Uses,.
Existing structures and uses not conforming to zones estab-
lished by the ordinance would be regulated by this section
and permitted to continue only pursuant to its provisions.
Administration) Enforcement and Penalties-
This section would set forth the methods of administering
under the ordinance, manner of enforcement and prescribe
legal penalties for violations of the ordinance.
Signs-
Signs of all types including billboards and residential
plates would be regulated by this section.
IV . CONCLUSION
It is the intention of the Town Board and Advisory Planning -Com-
mittee to eventually adopt an ordinance that is tailored to the
specific needs of Eagan Township. Except in its general scope, the
foregoing proposal consequently is not a carbon of any other ordinance.
Any residents having suggestions or criticisms concerning it are
invited to submit them in writing to the Board or Committee.
