Chairman Rahn presided. ~on IOOtion duly made and seconded, the reading of tbe minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with. Hr. Wally Potter introduced the new Fire Department officials to the Town Board. There were no building permit applications presented. Resl~ents of LangbovenAddition appeared with respect to responsibilit.:l for snow plowing the street in the platted Addition. The residents were sc!-Jised that the roads had: never been taken over by the Township for the reason they did not meet Township road standards and therefore the Township had no responsibility as to snow plowin,g and road maintenance.. The residents requested the Board to have the Town Attorney write Mr. Haswell Lang a letter reaarding the Township's lack of responsibility in the rnat~er. ~:.:' Mr. Alpby LeMay appeared on behalf of his application for a building permit w\der the Hardship Clause, Ordinance No. 6 for a house to be sitnated in part of Section 10-27-23. The Advisory Planning Coumittee recOlllllended denial of the application. Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Schwanz and seconded by Chairman Rahn, it was RESOLVED that said application be, and the same hereby is. denied on the ground that no hardsbip within the meaning of Ordlaance ""No. 6 was presented.. The application of Vern Donnay, Inc. for COft.C3tructioll. of 11 sign 30' x 401 in the NWt of the NEi. Section 19-27..23 was presented. The Advisory Planning Comni ttee recoomended approval. Upon motion duly _de by Supervisor Klein and seconded by C.....alrman Rabn, it was RESOLVED that a public hearing be held on Ja!luery 21, 1964s- ,at: 2:00 p.m. at the Town Hall in accordance with Ordinance No.6. Ti'le Town Engineer reported preUminarily on the suspected water pol1~Ucn situation in McKee Addition, indicating that further tests were being made and that a further report would be made at the next meeUng of the Board of Supervisors. The Town Attorney submitted a proposed snow plowing Ordinance No~ 15Q Upon mtion duly _de by Chairman Rahn and seconded by Supervisor Sch-....snz. it wes RESOLVED that said Ordinance No. 15 be, and the. same hereby is, \ duly approved and adopted as presented but striking therefrom paragraph 15.05 as originally presented and that the clerk be directed to publisb said ~'dlnance 15. The application of Eaaan Township for the re-zoning of the Fire Hall property on Rabn Road in proposed Cedar Grove No. 5 from A. Agricultural to P, Puol1c Facilities was presented.
