MINUTES OF REGULAR t-lEETING OF OOARD OF SUPERVISORS
EAGAN TO\'lNSHIP
April 4, 1961
A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Eagan Township,
was held on April 4Y1, 1961, at 8:00 o' clock P.M. at the Town Hall, at
which all members were present, Clerk Fischer being absent. Chairman
Rahn presided. The Minutes were read and approved.
Building permits were applied for and granted as specified in
the Clerk' s notes. The application of Mr. Polanski for a commercial
incinerator or. Highway #12 was referred to the Advisory Planning
Cor:Ji::ittee.
The application of Stewart Barringer for preliminary plat approv-
al was stric1<.en for lack of appearance.
The application of Robert Oslund was also stricken for lack of
appearance.
Mr. Robert Rohlf appeared with request for preliminary plat
approval for a one acre tract situated just north of Silver Bell Road.
The matter was referred to the Advisory Planning Committee.
Upon motion duly made by Chairman Hahn and seconded by Super-
visor Schwanz, it was RESOLVED that the Board should hire a professional
dog catcher and sufficient equipment to spot-check the township as to
Ordinance No. V.
Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Trapp and seconded by Super-
visor Schwanz, it was RESOLVED that Black Hawk Road be posted as of April
10Yl, 1961 for a maximum per axel load of five (5) tons until further

notice.
The Town Constable discussed their survey of police radio com-
munication systems and indicated the cost thereof of the best equipment
to be approximately ~l,lOO and that prior permission would have to be
obtained from the County Commissioner and the Federal ~mi catiJms
Commission. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that
the Board contact the County Commissioner in this regard. No formal
action was taken on the purchase of the equipment.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned.
