NINUTES OF A HEGUIAR HEETING
OF THE BOARD OF SUPBRVI.sORS OF
BAGAN TOWNSHIP ON lvIAY 3rd, 1960.
A regular meetin~ of the Board of .supervisors was held on May
3rd, 1960 at 8 o'clock P.fiI. at the Town Hall at which all members
were present.
Chairman Rahn opened the meeting. The Minutes of the previous
meeting were approved as read.
Upon complaint from residents in McKee Addition, the Town
Engineer was directed to check the road and drainage situation in
NcKee Addition.
Hr. Bergstrom appeared on behalf of Northern states Power Company
with proposal for arc light installations in Cedar Grove Nos. 1 and 2
according to the plot plan herewith attached as Exhibit "A". He in-
dicated the first year's cost would be assumed by ~.lr. Jandric and that
the cost thereafter would be ~46.00 per unit per year. Twelve such
lights were proposed. Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rahn and
seconded by Supervisor Schwanz, the matter was referred for study to
the Advisory Planning Committee.
Road Performance Bonds covering Cedar Grove No.2 were submitted
to the Clerk for filing, it appearing that the bonds were in the
appropriate amount according to the previous resolution in this respect.
Letter request from Cedar Grove Construction Company to be relieved of
increments of the bond as construction is completed was considered by
the Board which informally decided to entertain an application for
reduction at such time as portions of the work are completed.

The Clerk returned to Parranto Brothers the artist's drawing
of their proposed sign for Highway 13 and Blackhawk Road with the
understanding that Parranto Brothers will supply the Clerk with a
copy thereof in connection with their application for approval
previously acted upon.
Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rahn and seconded by Supervisor
Schwanz, it was RSSOLV~D that old Highway No.13 between Cedar Avenue
and nevi llighway No.13 be re-named "Beau d'Rue Drive", subject to
passage of appropriate ordinance covering re-naming of said drive,
Blackhawk Road and others.
Chairman Rahn indicated that Paul Schmidt and Herbert Motz have
informally agreed ,nth the Township to dedicate a portion of their
respective property for the purpose of widening descott ROiJ.d. A.
portion of the property of 'Nesley Keyes is necessary to the widening
who will be cor.tacted by ChairrniJ.D Hahn. Upon motion duly made by
Chairman Rahn iJ.Dd seconded by Supervisor ;jchwanz, it was RB30LVED
that the "yater cooler as exhibited and demonstrated be purchased for
the apilroximate sum of ii>165.00.
Upon motion duly made by Chairman R~ln and seconded by Supervisor
Trapp, it was RBSOLVBD that the Town Attorney be authorized to acquire
a mimeograph machine not to exceed in cost the sum of jp400.00.
