it special meeting of the Board of Supervisors was held on May 24th,
1960 at 6:00 o'clock P.ll. for the purpose of viewinc; certain road situa-
tions existing in the Township at which all members were present and the
Town ~ngineer, H. A. Davis.
First viewed was the Kenneally Road between Cedar Avenue and Highway
No.13 where it appeared the gravel pit contractor immediately to the South
and adjacent Kenneally Road had damaged the Town Road. Upon motion duly
made and seconded, it was Illi30LV~D that before the repairs as done by gravel
pit contractor be accepted, the Town Engineer survey the road to be certain
that the proper amount of right-of-way is still existing and no further
damage or danger can occur because of the damage originally done by said
contractor.
The Board next viewed the 31aters Acres Addition on the basis of
application heretofore received for the Township to accept the roads in the
development as dedicated. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was MJOLVi:D
that the application for the Township to accept the roads be, and hereby is,
denied on the ground that the roads are not in proper condition to be so
accepted.
The Board next viewed the roads and streets in McKee Addition because
of previous complaints concerning their damaged condition. Upon motion duly
made by Supervisor Schwanz and seconded by Supervisor Trapp, it was ~.sOLV~D
that the Town Engineer be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to draw up
the necessary plans and specifications for bidders for repairs of the streets
in HcKee i-\.ddi tion based upon the estimate of cost of street repair heretofore
submitted by the Town Engineer in this connection.
Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rahn and seconded by Supervisor
Schwanz, it was l{8JOLVED that all streets and roads in areas henceforth
platted in Eagan Township be constructed according to standards and
specifications as adopted by the Township.
