08/02/1960 - City Council Regular 126 MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS t EAGAN TOWNSHIP A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors was held on August 2nd, 1960 at 8:00 o'clock p.m. at the Town Hall at which all members were present. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that Al Kamish, Road Contractor, be hired to do repair work on McCarthy Road, also known as Deerwood Drive, such repairs not to exceed the sum of $300.00. On motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that the Board, or its representative, should investigate the reports of fires at the Gopher Smelting Plant on Highway No. 55. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that any action on the application of Mr. G. '1'. Gallagher for repairs to McCarthy Road be tabled for further study. Chairman Rahn presented a proposed form of Rules and Regulations for the conduct of the Town Board and Advisory Planning Committee meetings. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was resolved that said rules and regulations as presented be, and hereby are, approved and adopted and the Clerk was directed to post same in a conspicuous place in the Town Hall. Mr. John Moller and a representative of the J. W. Alexander Construction Company appeared in regard to the request that they submit their gravel test operation to the terms and conditions of Ordinance No. VIII. No action was taken. 127 Chairman Rahn presented a Slate of Election Judges consisting of these following residents of Eagan Township, all freeholders and of legal age, to-wit: Leota Schwantz Gloria Rahn Genevieve Cole Irene Boesel Mrs. George Ablin Louis F. Trapp Martin Des Lauriers Herbert Polzin On motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that the foregoing named to act as Election Judges in the coming primary election and general election be, and hereby are, duly approved and appointed to perform such duties as are prescribed by Statute.
