MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING

A special meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Eagan Township was held at
the Town Hall at 8:00 P.M. on November 14, 1960, at which all members were
present except Supervisor Trapp.
Chairman Rahn opened the meeting and stated the purpose to be to meet in
joint session with the Advisory Planning Committee which was then present.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, IT WAS RESOLVED that Chairman Rahn be
appointed to a joint committee with Chairman Klingel of the Advisory Planning
Committee along with the Town Engineer and the Town Attorney to study and pre-
pare a report to the Board of the committee and the residents of Eagan Township
on the relative advantages and disadvantages of incorporation of the township
as a village.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, IT WAS RESOLVED that the Veterans
of Foreign Wars be permitted to serve beer at a private party at the Valley
House during the month of November.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, IT WAS RESOLVED that the Town Engineer
be directed to prepare a street Flanning map in accordance with the recommenda-
tion of the Advisory Planning Committee.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, IT WAS RESOLVED that the meeting place
for the session of the Board of Supervisors and the Advisory Planning Committee
for the months of December, January and February, be held at McKee Hall on
Highway 55 near Lexington Avenue South, due to the inadequacy of the present
township facilities at the Town Hall.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned.
