MINUTES OF REGULAR HEmING OF BOARD OF SUPERVISORS. EAGAN TOWNSHIP
June 6. 1961
A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Eagan Township
was held on June 6111, 1961, at 8:00 P.M. at which all members were
present.
Chairman Rahn presided. The minutes of the previous meeting
were unanimously approved as read.
Upon motion du~ made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that the
following building permits be and the same hereby are approved:

The application of E. L. Stenevik for a building permit on a
three acre parcel subject to erdinance No. VI was referred to the
Advisory PlanQing Committee.
Upon motion du~ made by Supervisor Schwanz and seconded by
Chail"ll1an Rahn, it vias RESeLVD that the official township zoning map
be reformed to include all of Let 1', Block 8 of Cedar Grove No.2
as originally zoned and centemplated by the Board and Committee as
C-2, Heavy Commercial.
The application of Elmer Rahn and Henry Broback for rezoning
of parts of Section 20 was referred to the Advisory Planning Commit-
tee.
The application of Eugene Bader for proposed landfill on High-
w~ 13 was continued,at the request of applicant, to submit required

information.
The Road Agreement and performance bond executed by Timberline
Incorporated were submitted and executed by the Board of Supervisors.
The application of the West End Fishing and Hunting Club, Inc.
was further considered in the light of additional exhibits presented
by applicant. Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Trapp and secon-
ded by Chairman Rahn, it vas RESOLVED that a special use peI'lllit be,
and the same hereby is, granted subject to the restriction that
shooting be limited to two nights and Sundays only, of each week;
and it was FURTHER RESOLVED that the accompanying application for
a 3.2 beer license and soft drink license be, and the same hereby
are, approved.
Dr. Mitchell Jurdy appeared with a request for permit to shoot
upon his own property situated in the township. Dr. Jurciy was ad-
vised that the present shooting Ordinance No IX did not provide for
any permit therefore. A resolution from the floor was made request-
ing the Board of Supervisors to consider amending said ordinance so
as to allow the issuance of permits to resident land owners for the
purpose of shooting in a manner other than that as limited bY' said
ordinance. The board took the matter under advisement.
Upon motion duly IDB.de and seconded, it was RESOLVED that the
streets in Alp~ Addition as presented in the preliminar:r plat
the"of be formalq named as follows: LetIIay Lake Drive, Quarry
Lane. Lucille Lane, and WindY' Crest.
A request was made f,or an opinion as to the procedure for
residents desiring to petition for road improvements which would be

assessed against contiguous property. Upon motion duly made and
seconded, it was RESOLVED that the Town Attorney investigate this
aatter and report to the Board of Supervisors.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned.
