MINUTES OF lU:GULAR MEETING OF BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
June 20. 1961
A regular meeting ot the Board of Supervisors, Eagan Township was
held on Tuesday Evening, June 2t)b, 1961 at 8:00 0' clock P.M. at which
all members except Supervisor Trapp were present.
Chairman Rabn presided. The minutes of the preceding Oleeting were
unanimously approved as read.
Upon motion duly made and seconded it was RESOLVED that the tollow-
ing building permits be, and the same hereby are, approved:

Upon IIlotion duly made by Supervisor Schwanz and seconded by Chairman
Rahn, the application of Eugene Bader for a ptopoaed landfill on Highw81
No. l' was extended at the request of applicant, to submit additional re-
quired in1ormation. Cl1a1rman RUn read a letter trom the Minnesota De-
partment ot Health requesting that arrangements be made to have a repre-
sentative of the Department of Health accolDplUJy a 'rown Boar<i member to
investigate the proposed landfill area.

it was RESOLVED that becauee the next regularl1 scheduled meeting falls
on the 4th of JU~t the meeting tilDe be changed to Jull 'Ib, 1961, begin-
ning at 8:00 0' clock P.M.
A discussion ensued concerning the investigation of John Moeller's
gravel p1t operation to determine compl1ance with the aareernent. It was
decided that further investigation be made and that a report b. pr~ed
to the Board at a subsequent meeting.
Upon motioJl b1 Supervisor Schwanz and seconded by Chairman RaM, it
was REsOLVED that Shooting Ordinance No. IX taken under advisement by the
Town Board oa June 6ul, 1961, not be amended.
The legal opinion of the procedure for petition by residente for
road 1mprovements and aaaessmenta was read. by the Town Attorney and dis-
cussed at that tilDe.
Mr. Robert Rosene, appearins on behalf of the Advisory Planning Com-
mittee. explained. that a special meeting of the Planning Committee had
been t;alled to diseuse changes to the Township Zoning map, and no further
action was taken. b1 the Board ot Supervisors at that time.
Upon mot:i.on duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that the appli-
oation of E. L. stenevik for a building pet'lll1t tor proposed Lot 1, Alpby
Addition to be issued subject to cOlllpletion of formal plat under hardship
clause, Ordinance No. VI, be accepted.
Upon motion by Chairman Rahn and seconded by Supervisor SChwanz, it
was RESOLVED that the application of Henry !robaok and Elmer Rahn. for
the rezoning of part of Section 20-27-23 from A, Agricultural to 0-2,
Heavy Commercial and R-l, Residential be, and the sam. here-by is, denied.
Upon moUon duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that application
of Alphy LeMay tQJ' a special use permit to operate a gravel pit on part
of Seotion 10-21-2', be approved.
Upon motion dul1l11ilde by Chairman Rahn and seconded by SupervisOl"
Schwanz, it was RESOLVED that the application of Parranto Bros. Realty
for the rezoninc of a parcel of land 850 feet ilDllllediately adjacent to
Highway No. 13 on the East Side between Blackhawk Road and Yankee Doodle
Road consisting of approximately 56.39 acres from A, Agricultural to C-l,
Light Commercial, be approved.
Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Schwanz and seconded by Chairman
Rahn, it was RESOLVED that a Committee to pr~pare factual materials in
preparation tor re-submission of the new Town Hall bond issue be appointed,
composed of members Herbert Polzin, Ted Wachter, James Klingel, John Kline,
and Robert Rolf.
Upon presentation of the bills for the township a motion was duly made
and seconded that they be paid.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned.
