August 1. 1961
A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Eagan Town-
ship, Dakota County, was held at the Town Hall on August 1, 1961
at which all members were present.
Chairman Rahn presided. The minutes of the preceding meeting
were approved as read.
The following building permits were applied for and granted:

Mr. Arthur Meyer, 14.50 Higbview Avenue, appeared in behalf of
a group of residents from Valley View Plateau (Ira Nelson IS Addition)
regarding road improvements. The Board of Supervisors informally
suggested that the group appear before the Advisory Pl~nning Commit-
tee at their regular meeting on August 14, 1961.
Bids were submitted regarding previous bid notices as to two-
way radio equipment for the constable' s cars. Upon motion duly made
by Supervisor Trapp and seconded by Supervisor Schwanz, it was RE-
SOLVED that the Town Board be, and the same hereby is, authorized and
directed to purc~ the following equipment:

Model 682 mobile radio unit at a cost of S6l0 from the
Electric Communications Service Company of Minneapolis
to be installed in Constable Deslaurier's car.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that the
Township would construct a cul de sac at the East end of Deerwood
Drive upon the condition that a legal description of the area to
be utilized for this purpose be first provided the Board of Super-
Visors along with a perpetual easement for roadway purposes by the
