MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEm'ING OF BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, EAGAN TOWNSHIP
September 22, 1961
A special meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Eagan Township
was held at the Town Hall on September 22, 1961 at 11:00 0' clock
A.M. at which all members and Robert Rosene, the Town Engineer, were
present.
Chairman Rahn presided. Be stated that the primary purpose of
the meeting was to open bids for resurfacing Beau de Rue as adver-
tised. Chairman Rahn then declared the acceptance of bids would be
closed.
One bid was received together with a Bid Bond for five (5%)
per cent of the amount of bid from Riegger Roadways, Inc., Savage,
Minnesota - total bid: $4,096.50, as specified.
Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Schwanz and seconded by
Supervisor Trapp, it was RESOLVED to accept the above listed bid
and award the contract to Riegger Roadways, Inc. in the amount of
$4,096.50 and further RESOLVED that the Town Engineer notify them
and prepare the contract.
Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rahn and seconded by Super-
visor Trapp, it was RESOLVED to pay the bill for the Ford Tractor
and miscellaneous road equipment received from Carlson's Farm
Supply Company in the amount of 53,916.00 and to return their
certified check in the amount of $250.00 to them.
Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Trapp and seconded by Super-
visor Schwanz, it was RESOLVED that Chairman Rahn be authorized to
call a hearing on the roads in Valley View Plateau and to authorize
the Town Engineer to prepare a preliminary report and estimates
of cost, if and when sai~ hearing needs to be called. ,
