MINUTES OF MEErING OF BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, EAGAN TOWNSHIP
A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Eagan Town-
ship was held on October l'ltb. 1961 at 8:00 01 clock P.M. at which
all members were present except Supervisor Schwanz.
Chairman Rahn presided. The minutes of the previous meeting
were approved as read. No building permits were issued.
Mr. Floyd Zueli appeared requesting road repairs in Section
35 of Cliff Road. Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rahn and sec-
onded by Supervisor Trapp, it was RESOLVED that said request be de-
nied.
The application of Alfred Rahn for building permit for two
residences upon lots 150' x 150' situated on Yankee Doodle Road
under the Hardship Clause of Ordinance VI was considered in the light
of the recommendation of the Advisory Planning Committee. Upon mo-
tion duly made by Supervisor Trapp and seconded by Chairman Rahn, it
was R830LVED that said permit be granted under the hardship clause
Ordinance VI upon the condition that said lot be included in any plat
hereafter made of the adjoining property previously owned by said
Alfred Rahn.
Mr. Zylkowski and other residents of Cedar Grove representing
the West Eagan Civic Association appeared with regard to a recent fire
in Cedar Grove and requested the Board to reconsider the establishment
of a separate fire district in accordance with the West Eagan's Civic
Association's fire report submitted several months ago. Chairman
Rahn referred the fire report to the Advisory Planning Committee for
a review or for further review.

The proposed Subdivision Ordinance No. X was submitted for con-
sideration of the Board in view of the recommendation of the Advisory
PIAn~ing Committee tor adoption as corrected. Upon motion duly made by
Supervisor Trapp, and seconded by Chairman RaM, it vas RESOLVED that
Ordinance No. X be, and the same hereby is, duly approved and adopted
as presented with corrections.
The Town Engineer reported on the proposed Valley View Plateau
improvements. Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rahn and seconded by
Supervisor Trapp, it was RESOLVED that the Town Engineer contact Fred
Post, the owner of land adjacent to the platted addition for the purpose
ot obtaining a dedication of the road between Highway No. 13 and Valley
View Addition before any further action be taken on the proposed improve-
ments.
The Town Engineer reported on the proposed specifications for the
Cedar Grove Park. Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rabn and seconded
by Supervisor Trapp, it was RESOLVED that the specifications as submit-
ted by the Town Engineer be, and the same hereby are, approved and FUR-
THER RESOLVED that the Town Attorney insert the specifications in the
agreement regarding said park as required by said agreement.
The Town Attorney presented the incorporation report which was con-
sidered by the Board. Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Trapp and
seconded by Chairman RaM, it vas RESOLVED that said incorporation report
bet and the same hereby is approved; and FORmER RESOLVED that the report
made available to all residents ot Eagan Township as soon as possible.
Upen _tion duly made by Chairman Rahn and seconded by Supervisor
Trapp, it was RESOLVED that the Town Attorney prepare an appropriate
ordinance, adopting by reference, the Minnesota Highway Traffic Act
for submission to the Board of Supervisors_for approval. , .
