11/07/1961 - City Council Regular ~ MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF BOARD ~ SUPERVISORS. EAGAN TOWNSHIP November 71/1. 1961 A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Eagan Township was held at the Town Hall on November ~, 1961 at 8:00 o' clock P.M. at which all members were present except Supervisor Trapp. The minutes of the preceding meeting were unanimously approved as read. The following building permit was applied for: Airliner Motel - 2788 High\1fay No. 55, Haining Construction Company, estimated cost of improvement = $3,435.00. Upon motion duly made and seconded. it was RESOLVED that said application be,and the same hereby is,approved and the Clerk be ordered to issue the required permit. Henry Polansky appeared on behalf of his application to operate a commercial incinerator on the Alvin LaBey property on Highway No. 13. The matter was referred by Chairman Rahn to the Advisory Planning Com- mittee. Proposed Ordinance No. 11 incorporating by reference the Minne- sota Highway Traffic Act, M.S.A. 169.01 et seq. was presented. Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Schwanz and seconded by Chairman Rahn, it was RESOLVED that said ordinance be,and the same hereby is. duly adopted. and the Clerk be ordered to publish said ordinance according to law. Proposed petition for incorporation was presented to the Board in accordance with previous resolution approving same and proceeding with incorporation. The petition was referred to Chairman Rahn for ~ the obtaining of the necessary petitioners' signatures. A proposed form of Invoice for use by the Township for work done by the road overseer was presented. Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rahn and seconded by Supervisor Schwanz, it was RESOLVED that said form as presented be, and hereby is, approved and the Clerk be authorized to obtain a limited printing thereof. Henry Franz pres~nted an application for real estate tax abate- ment from $800 to $550 on his home, $500 to $280 on his barn, and $250 to $100 on his garage.
