MINUTES OF REGULAR MSh~ING OF BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, EAGAN TOWNSHIP
March 20th, 1962
A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Eagan Township,
was held on March 20~, 1962 at 8:00 0' clock P.M. at the Town Hall
at which all members were present.
Chairman Rahn presided. The minutes of the preceding meeting
were approved as read.
The following building permits were approved:

The application of Oscar Jones for a permit under the gravel
pit ordinance was presented. Appearances in behalf of opponents to
the granting of the permit were Ted Wachter, Mr. Ketchum and Mr.
Stricker. Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Trapp and seconded by
Supervisor Schwanz, it was RESOLVED that the application of Oscar
Jones for a permit to operate a gravel pit under Ordinance No. VIII
be, and the same hereby is, denied on the grounds and according to
separate resolution formally adopted of even date herewith.
Supervisor Rahn was elected Chairman of the Board of Supervisors
for the coming year. All newly elected and appointed officers were
qualified and sworn in. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was
RESOLVED that Marvin Wenzel be, and he hereby is, appointed Road
Overseer for one year. Mr. Wenzel was subsequently qualified and
sworn in.
Upon motion by Supervisor Schwanz and seconded by Chairman
Hahn, it was RESOLVED that $40~~ be, and same hereby is, transfer-
red from the General Revenue Rund to the Building Fund.
Upon motion by Supervisor Trapp and seconded by Chairman Rahn,
it was RESOLVED to purchase two-way communication for Constable
LeTendre's car Model 682 Cameo in the amount of $610.00 installed.
Upon motion, all bills submitted to the Board were approved
to be paid.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned.
