MINUTBS OF SPECIAL MEETING OF BOARD OF SUPERVISJRS. EAGAN TOWNSH~
JUNE 25TH. 1962
A special meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Eagan Town-
ship, was held at the Cedar Grove Elementary School on June 25~,
1962 at 8:00 0' clock P.M. at which all members were present ex-
cept Supervisor Schwanz.
Chairman Rahn presided. He stated that the purpose of the
meeting was a public hearing pursuant to Ordinance No.VI for the
purpose of considering the rezoning from R-l, Residential to P,
Public Facilities of a certain parcel of property more particularly
described as Lot 17, Block 6, Cedar Grove No.4, to be used as the
Special Fire District Fire Hall.
Representatives of the committee appointed by the Board of
Supervisors were present as proponents for the rezoning, and the
opponents appearing in this regard were as follows: Mrs. Earl Lee,
2145 Marble Lane; Donald Hamling, 2141 Marble Lane; and Joe Pio-
trowski, 2137 Marble Lane.
The Board having heard from the proponents and the opponents,
upon motion duly made by Chairman Rahn and seconded by Supervisor
Trapp, it was RESOLVED that the application for rezoning of said
property be, and the same hereby is, denied.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned.
