MINUTES OF REGULAR MEErING OF BOARD OF SUPERVISORS. EAGAN TOWNSHIP
AUGUST 21st. 1962
A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors" Eagan Township,
Dakota County, Minnesota was held on August 21, 1962 at 8:00 0 clock P.M.
at the Town Hall at which all members were present except Supervisor
Schwanz.
Chairman Rahn presided. The minutes of the preceding meeting were
approved as read.
The following applications for building permits were submitted:

Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rahn and seconded by Supervisor
Trapp, it was RESOLVED that the foregoing building permits be issued.
The application of Rolland Kirchner for preliminary plat approval
of IlKirchner Plaza" was presented. The Town Engineer reported that the
plat was in order. Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rahn and seconded
by Supervisor Trapp, it was RESOLVED that preliminary approval be, and
the same hereby is, granted on the plat "Kirchner Plaza".
The application of James Tousignant for the rezoning of certain
lands in Section 31-27-23 situated on Cedar Avenue South from A, Agricul-
tural to R-2, Residential and for preliminary plat approval covering said
land, was presented. Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Trapp, and
seconded by Chairman Rahn, it was RESOLVED that said lands be, and the
same hereby are, rezoned from At Agricultural to R-2. Residential, sub-
ject to submission by applicant of a complete and correct legal descrip-
tionj and FURTHER RESOLVED that preliminary approval be, and the same
hereby is, granted as to the plat of said land.
A recommendation of the Advisory Planning Committee for the rezoning
of certain lands in Section 13-27-23 including the Loren Place and the
adjacent land to the North from A, Agricultural to I-l, Light Industrial
was presented. Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rahn and seconded by
Supervisor Trapp, it was RESOLV.8D to rezone said land from At Agricultural
to 1-1, Light Industrialt subject to an appropriate legal description
being supplied by applicant covering all of the above mentioned property.
The Town Attorney presented a legal opinion concerning the conduct
of Bingo games at the V.F.W. Post on the 2nd floor of the Dairy Store
situated on Beau de Rue Drive, which concluded that upon appropriate appli-
cation the Bingo g~e~ could be conducted at the Post Quarters._
