REGULAR MEETING OF BOARD OF SUPERVISQRS. EAGAN TOWN~HIP - OCTOBER 2. 1962
A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors. Eagan Township was
held at 8:00 0' clock P.M. on October 2nd. 1962 at the Town Hall at
which all members were present except Chairman Rahn.
Supervisor Schwanz presided. The minutes of the preceding meeting
were approved as read except for a change in the lastiparagraph of page
2, which should read "The appltcation of Rowland Kirchner for plat apo-
proval" instead of Harvey Kirchner.
The following applications for building permits were presented:
Mike 0' Connor - Co.Road 10 & - Residence 28' x 48' Est.Cost $22,000
Co.Road 19 + Garage
Fonce Wofford - 1ft Section 12- Residence 26' x 44' Est.Cost $14.000

Upon motion duly made and seconded. it was RESOLVED that the fore-
going bui Iding permi t applications be. and the same hereby are. approved.
subject to the forelDln~stlpulation concerning the Wofford application.
The Clerk was directed to forthwith issue building p~its to the appll-
cants.
A request by the Cedar Grove Construction Co. for dedication of the
.torm sewer In Cedar Grove was ordered to be considered by the Advisory
Planning CcanUtee meeting at its October 8th reaular meeting.
Mr. Roser M. Groamesch appeared on behalf of Mr. Leonard Jackel' for
a buUdlftl permit to conatruct a residence on Lot 9. ltidaeview Acres.
After consideration by the members of the Town Board. upon mUon duly
made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that the building permit be. and the
same hereby tat approved, aubject to submission by applicant to the Town
Attorney for approval, of a $2,000 Performance Bond pending cOtl\lle-
tion of the final plat of Ridgeview Acres by Vince Kennedy. The Clerk
was instructed to withhold issuance of the building permit until said
bond has been submi tted and approved by the Town Attorney.
Mr. H. J. Geraghty appeared on behalf of Peoples Natural Gas Co~
pany with proposals for extending existing gas lines operated by Peoples
Natural Gas Company, and for rezoning of a 30' x 30' lot on Cliff Road
to serve as a gas sub-station. Mr. Garaghty was instructed by the Town
Board to discuss the proposed gas line extension and to submit an appli-
cation for rezoning at the next Advisory Planning Committee meeting on
October 8th, 1962.
A general discussion was had concerning the present status of the
incorporation of Eagan Township.
The acceptance of Eagan Township of road easements from property
owners bordering on Wescott Road for purposes of widening said road was
held over to the next Board of Supervisors meeting pending further study
by the Town Engineer and acquisition of the remaining easement deeds.
Upon motion. all bills were ordered paid.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned.
