MImms OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE aOARD OF SUPERVISORS
EAGAN Tc:MNSHIP, DAKarA COUNTY, MINNESarA
February 15, 1966
A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Eagan Township, was held
on February 15, 1966 at 8:00 P. M at the Town Hall at which all members
were present. Chairman Rahn presided. The minutes of the previous meeting
were unanimously approved as read except the amendment submitted ~y
Supervisor Klein to include the approval and payment of all bills as
presented.
There were no building permit applications.
Police Chief Martin DesLauriers appeared with reference to the complaint
against T. W. Kitzman for Violating Dumping Ordinance No.1 on his residential
property and reported that the junked cars had been removed in accordance with
bis request and that, therefore, no appearance was being made by Mr. Kitzman.
The town attorney submitted an opinion with respect to fire department fees
and expenditures.
Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rahh and seconded by Supervisor Schwanz,
it was RESOLVED that O'Neill and Huber rezoning applications be set for public
hearing on March 6, 1966 at the town hall at 8:00 p. M. and that the clerk
make the publication according to law.
A form of agreement was submitted by Jerome Harrington running in favor
or Eagan Township granting to Eagan Township upon request an easement for road
purposes along County load No. 30 and between sections 28 and 29. Upon motion
duly made by Chairman Rahn and seconded by Supervisor Scbwan~ said agreement
was approved and the clerk and Chairman directed to execute same.
Mrs. Smith appeared with a reque8t for the use of the town hall from time
to time for the Eagan Civic Association. Upon motion duly made by Chairman
Rahn and seconded by Supervisor Klein, it was RESOLVED that permission be granted

the Eagan Civic Association to ~~iodically use the town hall for public meetingL
conditioned on payment of a $5.00 fee therefore and that its meeting do not
conflict with town business and meetings.
A request by Andrew Undis for road maintenance in Lakew~od Hills off of
Cliff Road was presented. The Board took the matter under advisement and direct_"
the town engineer to investigate and report to the board later in the spring.
The application for reduction in assessment was presented by Henry Klanz
as to buildings at 1529 Deerwood Drive. The request was to reduce the buiMi~~
assessment from $2,768 to $1,800. Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Schwanz
and seconded by Supervisor Klein it was RESOLVED to recommend reduction to
$2,099 upon the recommendation of the town assessor.
The town attorney was directed to prepare an opinion regarding the purchase
of insurance for the township on bids.
Upon mot1on duly made by Supervisor Klein and seconded by Chairman Rahn,
it was RESOLVED that all bills as presented be, and they hereby are, approved
and ordered paid.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned.
