MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
EAGAN TOWNSHIP ~ Dl..KC'TA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
August 17, 1965
A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Eagan Township,
Dakota County, was held at the Town Hall at 8:00 o'clock P. M. on
August 17, lS65 at which all members were present.
Chairman Rahn presided. The minutes of the previous meeting were
approved as read.
The following building permit application was presented to the
Board:
Harvey Kirchner, 640 Rita Court, single dwelling 44' x 28'
$16,000 in Section 12, over three acres.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was' RESOLVED that the
foregoing application be, and it hereby is, approved.
Mr. Otto Doeh1ing, German Road, South St. Paul appeared together
with his attorney Robert Da~y with an application to rezone 1-1/10
acres in part of the NEt of Section 10-27-23 from A, Agricultural to
C~l, Light Commercial for construction of a service station. It was
noted that the Advisory Planning Committee recommended approval of the
rezoning and also the building permit subject to certain conditions.
Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rahn" and seconded by Supervisor Schwanz,
it was RESOLVED that said application for rezoning and for building
permit be, and it hereby is, approved subject to the submission and
approval of the final plan by the Town Engineer including 40 foot inside
curb cut prior to the issuance of a building permit.
Mr. Jean Parranto, of Parranto Brothers Realty appeared on behalf
of an application for construction of a supermarket in t he NEt of
Section 1$-27~23 near Highway #13 and Cedar Avenue. The Advisory
Planning Committee recommended approval subject to completion of the
application as to cost of improvements and also approval by the Town
Engineer. Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Schwan~ and seconded by

Chairman Rahn, it was RESOLVED that said application bet and it hereby
is, approved subject to the submission and approval by the Town Engineer
of complete plans and specifications for the building.
Mr. Robert Jenkins appeared on his behalf relative to an application
for modification of a platted lot, namely Lot 7 in Zendor Acres. It
was noted that his property at 1435 Lone Oak Road is 200' x 300' in size.
The request was to sell a 100' width portion to divide the lot into
100' x 300' lots. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was RESCLVED
that said application for modification of the platted lot be, and it
hereby is, arypr.oved, subject, however, to the filing by the applicant
of an appropriate survey with the Board of Supervisors.
Mr. Ed DuBois, Rahn Road, appeared with respect to the condition of
the premises of the Tom MOhr property. The Board directed the Town
Police Officer to inspect the premises and to issue a warning to clean
up the property within a reasonable length of time.
Upon motion duly made by 3upervisor Klein and seconded by Supervisor
Schwanz, it was RESCLVED that the public hearing scheduled for September 8.
IS65 at 8:00 o'clock P.M. relative to proposed sewer system of Eagan
Township be, and it hereby is, cancelled until the Town Attorney and
Town Engineer can determine an appropriate date for scheduling the hearing.
Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rann and seconded by Supervisor
Klein, it was RESOLVED that the Town Clerk be, and she hereby is, authorized
to advertise for bids for grading and graveling P~hn Road which bids
shall be opened on September 7, 1965 at 7:30 o'cloc~ P.M. at the Town Hall.
Upon motion, all bills were ordered paid.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned.
