MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
EAGAN TOWNSHIP, DAROTA COUNTY
May 11, 1964

A special meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Eagan Township,
Dakota County, was held on May 11, 1964 at 9100 o'clock P. M. at the
Town Hall at which all membera were present.
Chairman Rahn presided. The reading of the minutes of the previous
meeting was unanimously waived.
Chairman Raha stated the purpose of the meeting to be the consideration
of the Minnesota Municipal Commission Order dated May 7, 1964 ordering
the incorporation of all of Sections 19 and 30 and that part of Section
31 Westerly of proposed new Highway 35E. Chairman Rahn noted the
recommendation of the Advisory Planning Committee to oppose the order.
Upon ant ion duly made and seconded, it was unanianusly RESOLVED to
oppose the Order of the Minnesota Municipal Coamission dated May 7, 1964
ordering the incorporation of the above described portion of Eagan Township

into the Village of Burnsvil1e, and the Town Attorney is hereby directed
to take all neces..ry legal action to oppose said incorporation.
The following building permit applications were presented:
Mr. J. J. Utecht, 3768 Sibley HiaJ;lway, switrlDing pool 16' x 40'
estimated cost $3,500.
Clayton Groth, 7~5 Roanoke Road, swiftlBina pool 16' x 36' estimated
cost $3,000.
Pete Schaffer, Route 1, Rosemount, c)a'c~en barn, 24' x 168' to be
located on Pilot Knob Road near Cliff Road in Section 34, estimated
cost $5,000.
Upon tootion duly made and seconded, it wes RESOLVED that the foreaoing
building pemi t applications be, and they hereby are, approved, and the

Clerk ordered to issue the requisite building permits upon the payment
of fees therefore.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned.
