MINUTES OF 11 SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
EAGAN TOWNSHIP, DAKOTA COUN1Y, MINNESOTA
AUgust 22, 1967
A special aeeting of the Board of Supervisors of Bagan. township was
beld at the town hall at 8:00 o.clock P. M. on August 22, 1967, at which
all members were present~
The Cbai1'lll8n annoUllced.that the first order of business would be the
opening of bids for the extension of Rahn Road to Beau de Rue Drive. The
following bids were submitted:

Husting & Engstrom

After reviewing th,e bids, aDd upon motion by Supervisor Rahn, and seconded
by Cba1.rman Klein it was RESOLVED that the bid of Husting and Engstrom, Inc.
in the sum of $10,418.50 be, and it ber~by is, accepted and that the contract
be let to said contractor.
Mr. Jean Parranto appeared on behalf of Su Su Ling Drive-in in relation
to a request for a ,building permit at the Northwest corner of Beau de Rue
Drive and Cedar Avenue. Upon motion by Chairman Klein, seconded by Supervisor
Rahn, it was RESOLVED that said building permit application be, and hereby
is approved, subject however to submissinn of an application, approval by
the town engineer and final approval by the Advisory Planning Cormnittee.
The Board accepted two applications from DCa Company requesting construe',
tion and assessement toward benefited property of graveling and surfacing
certain streets in proposed Cedar Industrial Park including Seneea ROad,

Shawnee Road and part of Kenabec Drive. The second application was for

sewer and lateral mains along the new roadl'lay from Cedar Avenue to Highllay 1!13.
Upon motion by Chairman Klein, secO'4ded by Supervisor Rahn it was RESOLVED
that said requests be, and hereby are, accepted and referred to the town engineer
for the preparation of plans and further study.
Upon motion by Supervisor Schwanz, seconded by Supervisor Rahn, it was
RESOLVED that specifications for a half ton pick-up truck to be used by the
town water and sewer superintendent be prepared by the town engineer and
further that the clerk be authorized to advertize for bids.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
