MINUTES OF A N!:ETtNG OF THE ASSESSMIU1T CO!om TTEE
EAGAN 'InINSHIP, DAKOTA COt1NTY. MINNESOTA
May 21. 1969
A meettog of the Assessment Committee of the TOVtl of Eagan, Dakota
County, Minnesota was held on May 27, 1969 at 6:30 o'clock P.M. at the
Tot~ Hall. Those present were Kleln, Polzin, Rosene, Bolke, Hauge and
Supervisor UseLmann. The committee discussed the proposed assessments
covering the area South of Lone Oak Road includtng tbe Winston Palmatier
property. Upon motion made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that tbe two
fragmented parcels owned by Winston Palmatier bot be assessed for st"]~
sewer purposeS at this Dtage but in the event of development that they be
assessed at the current rate at that time.
Upon motion made and seconded, it was RESOLVED tbat the assessments for
lots in River Edge Circle, South of Lone Oak Road be determined on the basis
of the everase lot width on tbe SQuth side of Lone Oak Road in the same
project that that frontage be dete~ned for lateral assessment purposes.
The Committee discussed the proposed asses-.ent credit for the Stephen-
.on property 1n McCarthy Ridge Addition. It was requested that tbe eredi'
on Dr. Armajani's prpperty Mjacent to the Stephenson p:roperty be determined
before the credit on the Stephenson property be set.
The Committee discussed the assessment for a motel in the Township
and the following, upon IIOtion duly macle and seconded was recommended for
approval:
a. That lateral a..e'S88nta be asselsed on the normal basis for other
developments.
b. That the water hook-up chatg. currently in the sum of $170.00 pet'
hook-up be determined on the basis of one-half of a residental unit
,er each ~tel unit.
c. That the sewaae treattlent hook-up char.. currently in the SUII ot
$200.00 also be d.te~ned on the basis of 1/2 reaideuta} unit per
motel \1Dit.
The proposed assesament role covering the ase.ssment hearing scheduled
for June 30, was presented reviewed and approved.
