Document - Historical information/data - Ordinance on taking into possession and impounding of any animal as authorized -
No person shall in any manner whatsoever interfere with the lawful taking
into possession and impounding of any animal as authorized herein.
Section 9. Any owner or person violating any section of this ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of
not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00). If any owner be convicted
hereunder while in possession of a kennel permit as herein provided for,
such permit stall automatically be revoked, and no such permit shall be again
issued to such owner for a period of one (1) year from and after date of
conviction.
Section 10. If any part of this ordinance shall be held invalid, such
part shall be deemed severable and the invalidity thereof shall not affect
the remaining parts thereof.
Section 11. This ordinance shall take effect upon its adoption and
publication according to law.
Section 12. All ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
The foregoing ordinance was duly approved and adopted by the Board of
Supervisors, Eagan Township at a regular meeting thereof on
