of Health of ; ,k*a Township that gypsies, otherwise known as
people of Romany, are accustomed to defecate and urinate in the
open air wherever they may be, without regard to 'lace and without
taking proper precautions to isolate or cover their urination or
defecation; that they are likewise accustomed to leave offal and
refuse about in the open air without regard to place and without
taking rroper -precautions to isolate or cover the same; that
their camps and locations are unclean, unsanitary, and dangerous
to health, and that such camps and locations constitute public
nuisances; and that said gypsies are in general of unclean,
unsanitary, and filthy habits, and that their rresence within
the community constitutes a menace to the health of the co t+unity
and tends to further the spread of disease;
1. NOR TRZ k;YARE, it is hereby declared to be
unlawful for any gypsy or person of Romany, or any group or band
of the some, or any person associated with such a band or group,
to camp, locate, take shelter, tarry, or core to rest at any
point within the Township of RK14n.
2. It is hereby further declared to be unlawful
for any person owning any land or buildings, or any interest in
the same, within the said Township, or having any right of
possession to any land or buildings within the said Township,
knowingly to r. ermi t any gypsy or 'p'eTeon of Romany, or any group
or band of the were, or any person associated with such a band
or group, to camp, locate, take shelter, tarry, or come to rest
upon or in said land or said buildings.
3. Any person violating any provision of this
regulation shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
thereof shall be subject to a fine of not more than
or imprisonment in the county Dollars
