Silt fence - In addition to the silt fencing shown on the approved Certificate of Survey, a silt fence will be required approximately 3' behind the curb once the foundation has been backfilled. The silt fence may be removed if needed for deliveries such as gypsum board, shingles, concrete, etc., but must be replaced once the delivery vehicle is gone. The Ciry of Eagan will no longer issue a Certificate of Occupancy unless sod (or hay bales in the winter months) is in place for erosion protection. Gravel entrance pads will be required at future driveway locations to minimize debris tracked onto the streets. Dirt tracked from a constrnction site is the responsibility of the general contractor. We aze suggesting that you immediately norify your subcontractors and delivery people to clean up any debris in the street caused by them. A mobile street pickup sweeper might also be required at times at the expense of the general contractor to minimize pond sedimentarion and the safe driving of the general public. Both Building Inspections and Engineering staff will check erosion control measures.
