This report is a revisian to my previous report regarding this project, dated May 18, 2006.
,
I have been infonned that the fruss and frarning installation is revised from the detaiis
previously provided to me:
Tlle first truss is located at 32" fronl the endwall, but t11e second truss is spaced
22" fraiii tlle first one.
• The ilancl-framing is not tuliformly installed perpenciicular to the firsi truss, but
instcad has a ralter at 16" from the endwall with a header attached to the truss
near the fireplace.
• The roof sheathing is'/4" ply?vood.
With this infotmation, I have analyzed the truss to carry 2'-9" af roof load. The attached
truss drawings indicate that the truss can support the additional laad witbout
mociilication.
The loading must be applied uniformly to the truss - this would entaii cutting out the
existing rafter and installing 2x4 hand-framing perpendicular to the truss, spaced at 24"
on center. The raof sheathing is capable of supporting the required snow load; the
sheathing must be attached directly to the top chord of the truss.
