REPORT SUMMARY
I have iri'spected this septic system and reviewed tlie history of this system with the owner, Kathy Holmen. I have also performed a"MPCA compliance
inspection", which is attached. This is an very, very old system which consists of a
septic tank and a drywell tank.
My inspection indicates that this is a presently a"failing" system in
accordance with MPCA rules 7080 Subp. 16a. because of the existing drywell tank.
This system is not an imminent threat to public health or safety per MPCA rule 7080
Subp. 19a.
In accordance with MPCA rules I am sending a copy of this complete areport to
The City of Eagan. I am not sure of the City's requirements on the upgrading of
these failing systems and can not officially speak on behalf of the City. Please contact
IVIr. Doug Reid (Building Official) at 681-4600 to verify their position.

Please be advised that on August 23, 1997, the septic system at 1011 Blue Gentian Road was
determined to be a non-compliant system by Inspector Jack E. Gill. It is, therefore, necessary for
you to replace this system within the next ten months, or no later than June 1998, so it is in
compliance with M.P.C.A. Chapter 7080.
