You are presently on your awn private sewer and water system which .implies that your existing sanitary sewer is being handled by a private cesspool/ septic tank on-site disposal system. During the construction of the new sewer and water facilities we encountered your drainfield system. In several instances it was very difficult to install the services to the property line due to the fact that it was installed through your existing drainfield. Subsequently, because these drainfields are not properly functioning, they present a potential health problem to our newly installed water services. Therefore, to insure ompliance with Minnesota Department of Health Code Regulations, you will be required to connect to the newly installed sewer system by April 20, 1979. You mist obtain appropriate utility and connection permits before any services are connected to new utilities. We are aware that several residents are presently experiencing problems with their existing on-site sewer system and will be voluntarily making the connectim- 1his letter is to inform you of the urgency to make this connection to prevent any possible contamination of the newly supplied water system. It might be eeonanically advisable for several of the local residents to get together with one plumber contractor to make all of these eomections.
