The purpose of this letter is to inform you of your need to
incorporate an overland drainage swale into the final grading of
your yard. The intent of the swale is'to provide adequate
protection of your basement walkout in the event of an extremely
heavy rainfall by allowing excess runoff into the street if the
storm sewer in your backyard becomes plugged.
The original proposal by the developer indicated the best alignment
for a swale would be around the north side of your home and out to
the intersection of Pilot Knob Frontage Road and Camelback Drive.
However, since the driveway was built to access Camelback Drive, it
may be preferable to utilize the drainage and utility easement
along the south property line as indicated in the attached
Certificate of Survey.

association, herein referred to as "Landowner" and the CITY OF EAGAN,
a Minnesota municipal corporation, organized under the laws of the
State of Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as "City".
