with your request, I have enclosed a certified copy of the portion of the minutes from the
May 7, 2002, regular City Council meeting that refers to Project 800R. The action at this
Council meeting reduced the pending assessments to the amounts indicated on the
attached spreadsheet. I have highlighted all of the information relevant to your property.
As I have stated previously, it was the City Council's expressed intention to have the cost
of the proposed assessments amibuted to the development fees associated with the
redevelopment of the Cedar Grove Redevelopment Area.

In follow up to our eazlier conespondence, the City has received draft versions of Phase I
environmental documents for your properties. At this time, we have authorized the
Ena neering Firm, Braun Intertech, to print the final versions of those environmental
reviews so we can share a copy with you.
In the neaz future, we anticipate that you will be contacted by U.S. Home, the
development company that has taken over theNichols Ridge subdivision project from
Delta Homes. They will be discussing the possibility of acquiring your property directly.
This is part of a good faith effort to address property acquisition matters as promptly as
possible. If City participa[ion in the acquisition would be necessary, that would be
addtessed at some point in the future.
