Dear Sir:
In December of 1981 the Department of Protective Inspections did you and Mr. &
Mrs. Dandelet a favor and allowed occupancy before completion. Because of this
favor, there were several unfinished items that were to be finished and inspected.
Our inspection was made at 10:00 a.m. on September 20, 1982 at the owner's request.
The following items need repair or alteration to meet Fagan's codes and standards:
1. Handrail to upper level must be refastened to solid blocking or equivalent
2. Beam pockets in basement to be caulked and insulated
3. The fresh water sump pump must be piped to the exterior, not to the floor
drain
4. Construct the stud wall in the basement in a true and workmanlike manner
,(straighten)
S. Weather-proof exterior areas that need same and will cause air or water
leakage (around fireplace and windows and exterior trim)
These items are normal maintenance and should be corrected as a part of the first
year guaranty. Please repair immediately and notify me when complete.
