In July of 1999 a $5,000 landscape security deposit was submitted to the City of Eagan in
conjunction with issuance of the building permit for construction of the building at the
above referenced location. These funds are eligible for release to the depositor at this
time.
Please note that the property owner continues to be responsible for maintaining the health
of all plantings on the property. In accordance with section 11.70 of the Eagan City Code,
the property owner must maintain all landscaped areas, and install healthy replacement
plants for any plants that die or are removed due to disease. Maintenance shall include
removal of litter, dead plant materials, unhealthy or diseased trees, and necessary
pruning.
An inspection will be conducted by city staff next spring/summer to verify that the
condition of the landscaping is acceptable under city code. Thank you for your attention

Transport International submitted a landscape security deposit to the city in conjunction
with the building permit for the facility 3165 Dodd Rd. in July of 1999.
After inspecting the site we found the landscaping to be in satisfactory condition.
Consequently, the deposit can be released. The refund will be forwarded to you under
separate cover.
While we are releasing the security deposit, please note that the property owner continues,

Per the attached survey we would like clarification of whether the road depicted on
the survey is a private road or is accessible by the abutting property owners.
The road indicated on the survey has a "Private Road" sign installed on it.
This road leads to a trucking company with an address of 3275 Dodd Road. The
owner is listed as Peter D. Lund.
We are representing Mike Sill in the marketing of his land that abuts this road in
question. The P.I.D. number of Mr. Sills parcel is 10-01200-010-29. In
discussions with the City of Eagan, Mr. Sill, the owner, was under the
understanding that this is not a private road and that only a temporary easement
was given to Mr. Peter Lund for the exclusive use of this road.
We have discussed this situation with Bruce Allen at the City of Eagan. Mr. Allen
found no records of any recorded easements other than a typical utility easement
running over the southern portion of Mr. Sill's property.
As previously stated we are in the process of marketing this land and the
ramifications of roadway may have a serious effect on the marketability of this
parcel. Please contact us with any information you have regarding this issue.
