Therefore, no sanitary sewer service improvements will be proposed at this time. Proposed Service - Water An 8" by 6" tee should be cut into the 8" main line. An additional lOS of 6" DIP water main should be installed. The b" DIP line could service this parcets future needs as well as Pazcei 010-02. This improvement is shown on Figure No. 39. Parcel 010-05, PIN# 10-02400-010-05 Figure Numbers 41,42,43 Existing Conditions - Sanitary Sewer This parcel currently has a sanitary sewer available via a manhole located on the west side oF the property. This 8" sewer line was extended from the cul-de-sac in Havenhill Road to the west property line oF parcel 010-05 as shown in Figure No 41. This location of sewer service will work with the Diven contours and elevations of the property. Existing Conditions - Water Cutrently, water main exists along the west side of Dodd Road, adjacent to this property as shown in Figure No 42. A 1" service has also been provided to serve the existing use (one single family) of this parcel. Proposed Improvement - 3anitary 5ewer It is felt that at the time of change in the use of land for this pazcel, the necessary connections to the sanitary sewer line available to the parcel can take piace. Proposed Improvement - Water It is felt that a 6" line should be stubbed to this parcel for future needs. If this parcel was to subdivide, a 6" line would be necessary. By installing a 6" water main at this time, no disruptions to the new road will occur. This proposed improvement is shown on Figure No 43. VAN OVERBEKE Clty Cleik On Mareh 7, 1994 Doreen Gravelle ca(led and asked me to inspect 3955 Dodd Road for possible sewage backing up in the basement fuel tank storage room and a strong odor of sewage in the house. I inspected the basement at approximately 11:30 a.m. that same day and noticed a strong odor along with several inches of possible sewage in the fuel tank storage area. I was unable to determine the source of the leaking sewage and Doreen Gravelle informed me that the condition had been ongoing for some time. On March 10, 1994, I called Jay Kieffer to discuss the situation with him. He informed me that the sewage tank would be pumped out and that he would try ro resolve the problem. On March 17, I again spoke with Mr. Kieffer and he informed me the basement and septic tank were pumped out by Schlomka Services Inc. On March 24, 1994, Doreen Gravelle called me and stated that the basement area in question had sewage in it once again. I agreed to meet with her at 11:00 a.m. on March 25 to inspect the problem. When I arrived, I met Jay Kieffer. We checked the basement once again and there were several inches of sewage in the fuel tank storage area. We discussed the layout of the old septic system and Jay stated that his father knew more about the installation of the system and would have him come over and go over it with us. When his father anived, we talked about what could be done to alleviate this problem. Because the entire septic system is old and in need of repairs, the best solution would be to vacate the existing system and hook up to the Ciry sanitary sewer on the west end of the property. T was not given a date when this would be changed over. For the temporary solution, it would be pumped again. POLICY: When existing unplatted property meeting the qualifying area and frontage requirements desire to connect to existing previously under/unassessed publie lmprovements or when new public improvements are installed ad,jacent to similar type property, through the execution of the attached agreement, the assessment obligation will be caleulated on 100 ft. of frontage and 1 acre of land with the remainder of the assessment obligation being postponed until such time that the property is developed to a higher or more intense use.
