After reviewing the fire daanages at your residence, the following potential
hazards were fotmd:
1. In the garage the wood heater should be raised so the burner and hot
anbers are 18 inches ar mre above the floor.
2. 'Ihe Class A chinmey for a wood burner should have a 2 inch clearance
fran ccmbustables.
3. 'Ihe styrofoarn should be oovered with a mininnIIn of ? inch sheetrock.
4. Flamrable liquids (thinner) should be stored in one hour metal cabinets.
5. 'ihe plastic curtain on the ceiling looks as if it has paint over spray on it.
6. It is extranely hazardous to spray paint in a garage without makeup eir and
with a flamie type heat. (It is illegal to spray paint in a residential
garage).
Your attention to correct these problens c.ould be greatly appreciated.
