Enclosed please find a copy of the foundation report and structural
sketch for the proposed building on Lot 18 of the above development.
As the sketch shows, we took horizontal and vertical field measurements
from the bottom of the proposed footing to the top and center of the
existing manhole adjacent to this lot. BRW, as part of this development,
located the 27" RCP at about 26 feet below the existing ground.
Based on plan and actual measurement, a portion of the concrete block
wall will function as retaining wall in the event an excavation is needed
to get to this sanitary pipe, and therefore we recommend that the wall
be reinforced with #5 vertical bars at 32 inches on center, and horizontal
Dur-O-Wail reinforcement at every six (6) course.

Inspected start of excavations Por single family residence,
which is to be uniquely shaped and oriented. Greatest point of
concern is at the easterly corner, nearest a storm sewer'('31' MH
top to invert). Structure will be 10' ± Yrom sewer. To provide e
proper zone of safety between trench bottom and footings,
contractor intends to drop Yootings in this area to top elevation
964 estimate 963 bottom. This appears adequate (8:10) given the
avove measurements (8' vertical, 10' horizontal). No additional
crowding should be attempted. Footing walls in this over deep zone
should be able to function as a retaining wall.
Contactor had commenced excavations in this vicinity,
discovering trench backFill material (loose, descriptions varying,
w/organic inclusions), and removing this material. Encountered
ground water at elevation 867 +. Contractor intends to finish
higher level excavations and dig a sump pit to the north,
dewatering, and completing excavation.
Recommend additional inspection of completed excavation.
