It was great visiting with you on Sunday morning. I spoke with Bruce Allen, an
Engineering Technician in our Public Works Department, about an issue relating to
Dakota County's request for additional half right-of-way on Pilot Knob Road.
According to Bruce, Dakota County, in its long-range planning, has identified Pilot Knob
Road to be upgraded to a six lane status requiring 100 foot half right-of-way with all
current and future plans.
Unfortunately, this matter is an issue with Dakota County. I would advise the gentleman
who acquired your property to contact our County Commissioners, members of the
Physical Development Committee and staff, including Pete Sorenson, on this matter.
