COLBERT, DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS DATE: JANUARY 16, 1984 SUBJECT: ABANDONED PRIVATE WELLS/I-35E CONSTRUCTION In July of 1983, MnDOT awarded a contract which provides for the removal of several residences due to the progression of I-35E through the City. As a part of that contract, the contractor is required to abandon all private wells and cap them in accordance with the Minnesota Department of Health regulations and forward a copy of the log to the City of Eagan for our information and file purposes.
