The State of Minnesota has made you an offer to purchase your property
that is involved in this condemnation action. The State's appraisal
of value, as currently completed and approved, is in the amount of
$300.00. A description of the property being acquired from you by the

did not accept the State's direct purchase offer, your property will
be acquired through an eminent domain proceedings. This proceedings
will be commenced by a hearing to consider the State's petition. The
hearing will be held in the Government Center at 9:00 A.M., on
Tuesday, December 20, 1983, at hastings.
It is necessary for the State of Minnesota to secure title and the
right of possession to the property prior to the filing of the award
of the Court-appointed Commissioners in the eminent domain
proceedings. In accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 117.042,
you are hereby given notice that the State shall have the right to
take title and possession to the property or property rights, as
described in Exhibit "A", on February 14, 1984.
In the event this parcel involves any person lawfully occupying the
real property who will be required to move from a dwelling or to move
a business or farm, a subsequent "Notice to vacate" letter will
follow. This letter will be sent at least 30 days prior to the date
