As you are aware, Independent School District 196 is in the process of finalizing plans for
the construction of Deerwood Middle School. This construction will entail the extension of
the driveway for the property beyond the existing parking lot and then west toward the
middle school portion of the site. Because your property is immediately adjacent to this
improvement, the City would like to invite you to attend a meeting with school district
representatives and the school's architect on Friday afternoon, December 11 at 4:00 p.m. at
the Eagan Municipal Center.
You should be aware that we are also inviting certain neighbors from the Deerwood addition
would have expressed concerns about the safety of children crossing this driveway to the
schools. As a consequence, the City's traffic consultant has been coordinating certain
improvements to the school's circulation design to respond to these concerns. It is our hope
that the concerns of the property owners, including yourself, can be addressed at this
meeting.

On December 1, 1988 we took pay?nt for the balance of assessments
for parcel no. 10-23900-100-02.V/'This payment was suppose to be
credited to parcel no:`1:0=239.0041.0-02;
Due to this errorl0-23900-010-02 was showing an 1990 installment
and balance. We have now collected the balance but the persons-
involved were only willing to pay the principal amount of the 1990
installment due to the mistake.
Since the full year 1990 tax was already paid we had to delete the
1990 installments from the tax roll and refund the owners their
money. I am forwarding the city the 1990 principal amount since
we are unable to accept this amount any other way.
