We have noticed that recently you have installed a bitinninous approach ratTm across
the gutter secticn of the cbricrete curb and gutter section in front of your drive-
way located at the abovrreferenoed property. This work was done without a City
pennit and has resulted in obstsucking the natural drai.naqe flaa withi.n the gutter
section of the City street. Because it is inportant for the City to maintain the
integrity of its drainage systen, it does not allow the mnstruction of these Hit
ianinous driveway approach ra¢ps. Hecause ttv_s obstructs the natural drainage flaa,
water, silt, sediments and debris are trappecl on the tmstrean of this obstruction.
Therefore, would you please malce the neoessary arrangements to have this ratp re-
moved by July 9, 1982. If this ranp is not remved by that date, the City will con-
tract the necessary forces xequired to pexfonn this reroval and will bill you for
the resulting costs associated with this work.
Hopefully, you can appreciate the City's concern pertaining to this itan and will
canply with our request for its removal within the appropriate tine fra¢ne.
