US WEST CELLULAR ANTENNA INSTALLATION
LEXINGTON RESERVOIR
Now that US West Cellular has executed the Lease Agreement as required by a condition
of the Special Use Permit approval, it is anticipated that they will want to begin their
installation of the antenna facilities on the Lexington Reservoir and the construction of the
freestanding equipment/park storage building.
Due to their desires to have this additional antenna station operational as soon as
possible, it is anticipated that they will be requesting the issuance of required building
permits in the very near future. Although the majority of this freestanding building will be
for City usage, I'm not aware of any waiver to any of the building permit tees.
As a condition of the Lease Agreement, the applicant is obligated to pay the entire annual
rent ($12;000) on January 1 of each year in accordance with Paragraph 4(a). I will
assume that Finance wiil send out the invoice for this annual rent now that the Lease
Agreement has been executed.
If any of you have any questions regarding the enclosed Lease Agreement, please feel
free to contact me and I'll be happy to pursue any questions or concerns.
