Considering the saapes of our lots, the way our houses ase situated and the lay of
the land tnere is no ea,}r another house could be constructed on our prope.ties. T'r.ere
is also a 10 £oct easement running along our property lines on t2ie hal£-a-lot. The:e-
fore the :za1F-a-lot we would be paVirg assessments on is really useless to us.
We supported the proposed sewer and water plan and +rould like to see tcis srea :mproved
but at tne same time we feel we should pay the same as ev-^yone else. When the
iaprovements were being discussed at the meeting we brougnt up the fact tnat it xaa
unf3ir for us to p,4y more thsn our other neighbors 14 .-•ing on comp;rable size or la=ger
lots. YPe were told at ti:e time that the Assessments Heview Committee would look into
ttie matter so that we wouldn't be charged unfairly. Little did we know 3t the time

by the s.3me sitsation. In talking Lo tt.ese neignbors, we've. come to the conclusion t:st
tneir esse is basically tne same as ou:s and in no instance do t::ey have plsns to se11
part of tnei: lot-,nd-a-Y.alf. For most of us it is i.mpossible since ou: houses sit in
the mid3ie of our prope:ty. Lven if tney wanted to divide a 150 x 150 lot down the
center it xouldn't yield er.oug:: square footage to build anoti:er houEe according to city
building reguirements. "_ 75 x 150 lot is only 11,250 squsre feet and Eagan requires
12,000 square feet for building.
