Dear Mr. & Mrs. Lane:
The City of Eagan has received fully executed copies of Quit Claim
Deeds that have been recorded at Dakota County which officially con-
veys that property located south of the newly platted Sheffield
Addition where the ownership was in question. As each of you may
recall, your request to the City Council to have a condition placed
on this plat approval of transferring this property was subsequently
incorporated and has now been fulfilled.
These original copies are for your files. Copies of these have been
officially recorded at the County and are now duly recorded as being
part of your ownership. Please be informed that copies of this Quit
Claim Deed wi11 be maintained at the City under your respective
legal parcel description file.

DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT
THIS INDENTURE, made and entered into this-?7 day of November, 1986, by
and between ROBERT C. LANE and PAMELA LANE, huaband and wife, as Grantore, and
the CITY OF EAGAN, Dakote County, Minnesota, as Grantee,
WITNESSETH WHEREAS, said Grantora, are the ownere of the tract of land in
the City of Eagan, Dakota County, Minnesota, legally described as follows:
See Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof.
WITNESSETH WHEREAS, the said Grantore, in consideration of One Dollar
($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration, to them paid by Grantee,
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hereby grant to said Grantee, ita
successors and aesigne, for permanent drainage purposes, including the normal
practice of filling with water the above deacribed premises from storm aewer
runoff, and for utilitq line purposes.
The Grantee ahall have the right to do whatever ie necessary for the
enjoyment of the rights herein granted, including the right of clearing the
easement area to allow for the use of the land as stated herein, and for
ingress and egress to and from said tract of land and over and acrosa said
easement only for the purpoae of constructing and maintaining, operating and
repairing eaid drainage facilities and utility lines.
And the said Grantors, for themselves, their heirs, executors,
administrators and assigns do hereby release the eaid CITY OF EAGAN, its
aucceasora and assigns, from all claims for any and ali damages resulting to
said land by reason of the location of said drainage easement and utility
lines.
By acceptance of theae easements, the Grantee agreea that it shall res[ore
_ the property located outside the anticipated perimeter of moving water to as
near the existing grade as is reasonablq possible and further agrees to
replace exiating cultivated shrubs or eod and to seed all other areas not
covered with mrning water.
