The Community Development Department recently received a call from a property owner in
the vicinity of 968 Kettle Creek Road regarding trash in the back yard.
A site inspection was performed and assorted litter and trash was seen. Our records list you
as the owfier of this property. I placed a call to you at 688-2927, but there was no answer.
Chapter 10 of the City Code defines cans, paper, glass, etc. as refuse. Subd. 2.A. of Chapter
IO stptes that it is unlawful to store garbage or other refuse on residential dwelling premises
for more than one week and that all such storage shall be in water-tight metal or plastic
containers with tight-fitting covers.
Please see that the refuse laying around your back yard is cleaned up and put into proper
contairzers. I will be reinspecting your property one week from the date of this letter.
