Retaining Wall
Dear Mr. Rausch:
The purpose of this correspondence is to confirm our discussion at our
meeting today. It is my understanding that the City does not object to me placing a
retaining wall in the drainage easement area at the rear of my new residence
referenced above and as generally depicted in my prior email drawing with the
following conditions:
1. The wall should remain outside of the highwater line of the Pond
which is approximately two (2) feet above the bottom of the culvert
located therein.
2. The portion of the wall that runs parallel to the back lot line should
remain a sufficient distance (approximately 5-7 feet) away from such
line so as to not block water drainage along such lot line.
3. I am at risk of having the wall removed if necessary for the City to
conduct any maintenance on the drainage pipe located beneath the
wall.
